CompanyNet, part of the Core Group, is thrilled to announce the appointment of Scott Millar as new Country Manager for Scotland from September 1st, 2024. Scott brings with him a wealth of experience and a proven track record of success in the technology sector, making him an outstanding addition to our team as we continue to grow our business in Scotland.
Scott Millar is a well-known figure in the technology and communications industry, with over 25 years of experience. He was the CEO and Founder of Exactive, a company that has been at the forefront of delivering innovative Unified Communications solutions. Under his leadership, Exactive grew into a leading provider in the sector, known for its customer-focused approach and cutting-edge technology solutions. Scott’s entrepreneurial spirit and deep understanding of the Scottish market make him the perfect fit for this crucial role at CompanyNet, and within the Core Group.
In his new role as Country Manager for Scotland, Scott will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to identify and secure new business opportunities across the country. He will work closely with Head of New Business Development in Scotland, Govi Malhotra, and our account management, service management and pre-sales teams, to ensure that we continue to provide exceptional service to our clients, while expanding our market presence.
Scott’s responsibilities will include fostering relationships with existing and potential clients and partners, ensuring that CompanyNet remains a trusted name in the industry, and Scotland region. He will play a pivotal role in collecting and utilising face-to-face employee feedback to improve our operations and enhance employee satisfaction in Scotland. This emphasis on employee engagement aligns perfectly with our commitment to creating a positive and productive work environment across all of the Core Group.
As part of the senior management team, Scott will collaborate closely with CEO, Conor Callanan, and CCO, Rye Austin, as well as other key stakeholders to align the goals of our Scottish operations with the overall vision of the company. His insights into market trends and competitor activities will be invaluable as we continue to refine our strategies and deliver innovative solutions to our customers.
